SYNOPSIS

Wyit's lonely, dull life on the frontier is shattered one day by a terrifying encounter with an ancient machine in the town mines. Lethally marked by its dark energy and hunted by a clan of samurai-commandos led by a ruthless warlord, Wyit's only hope is a mysterious soldier sent to protect him on an impossible journey for survival.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Anyone who wants a tale of real friendship and brotherhood between two unlikely loners, Good versus Evil, antediluvian mystery, and Diesel-Fantasy 'sword & skyship' adventure.

Originally, this project was just for myself; a therapeutic hobby to focus on while navigating a dark period in my life after serving in the Marine Corps and a tour to Afghanistan. Eventually, the story took on a life of its own, leading to a world and characters I feel in love with and wanted to share with others.

Fans of two-fisted pulp action like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, the sci-fantasy of Gene Wolfe’s Book of the New Sun, and heroic themes of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis might especially enjoy WYIT. It’s the graphic novel I wish had existed when I was 13, but could still take seriously as an adult.

WHEN IS IT COMING OUT?

As soon as I can finish it! As of right now (April 2026) I have drawn about 180 pages out of the final count of approximately 210, some of which you can see on my Patreon and in my Twitch livestreams. I'm a one-man studio working on it independently while balancing other jobs and responsibilities. So, while I can't work on this full-time (yet), it's the number one thing I devote my free time towards.
